We love Kirra Jones and Paulina K in this mesmerizing story. The inspiration of this editorial is that there is no universal perception of the ideal of beauty . It always depends on cultural background or the era you are living in. The strive for perfect beauty is will never be reached, as ‘The absence of flaw in beauty is itself a flaw’. Therefore we picked up core elements of traditional and culturally significant outfits, and portray them in a contemporary context. The style of photography is a tribute to Paolo Roversi’s work in order to create a “National Geographics meets Fashion“ moment. (Jonathan Quipot) All garments and accessories are either traditional costumes or vintage.
